Last weekend my favorite girls and I got together to celebrate my “Final Fiesta!” Spending my bachelorette party in St. Pete Beach, Florida was the best decision, and we had such an amazing time!
When deciding what I wanted to do for my bachelorette party I knew I wanted to go somewhere where we could relax on the beach and stay safe while still having fun! We decided to book two nights at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, a beautiful hotel right on the ocean.
We had the most amazing time hanging out at the beach, eating delicious food, playing party games and just having the best girls weekend ever! Here are some of the highlights and details:
WHERE WE STAYED
The TradeWinds Island Grand Resort was one of the best beach hotels I’ve ever stayed at! We got two Tropical One Bedroom Suites, which were so spacious and had amazing views of the property and beach. The rooms had large kitchens, which were perfect for all the snacks and drinks we brought! The property was beautiful, and we loved the beach with private lounge chairs, but the best part was the giant inflatable water slide on the beach! I rode it twice and it was so much fun!
The resort also had plenty of restaurants and bars, and I did get a frose from The Flying Bridge, which was delicious. But, the restaurants were pretty expensive, so we didn’t eat there, even thought the food looked delicious!
WHAT WE DID
I knew going in to the bachelorette party that I didn’t want to do anything too crazy. My sisters and friends totally understood, and my sister got us a ton of fun games to play. Friday night we played games like “How Well Do You Know The Bride” and “For The Girls.” We laughed and relaxed and it was a great way for everyone to get to know each other.
On Saturday after brunch we all got back to the hotel and immediately changed into our bathing suits and went straight down to the beach. We got some covered beach lounges and drinks and spent the next few hours switching between laying in the sun and splashing in the water. One of my friends even rented us two giant floating lounges that fit all 11 of us! The hotel anchors them to the ocean floor so you can lay on them without worrying about floating away. It was so much fun!
Then we all got changed into our matching shirts and went down to the beach again to take sunset pictures. We planned to go out but I wasn’t feeling well after a day of drinking and the sun so we stayed in the room and ordered pizza, played more games and had such a fun and relaxing time.
WHERE WE ATE
Friday night we ate at the Toasted Monkey, a bar and restaurant that had delicious food, great drinks and most importantly a super fun atmosphere! We had the most amazing time on the outdoor patio drinking and dancing. My sister, who went above and beyond planning the whole weekend, kept buying songs to play on the restaurant’s speakers and we had the best time. Plus, the restaurant we so sweet and gave us a free round of shots to celebrate! Even strangers bought me some drinks to say congratulations!
On Saturday we went to brunch at Rick’s Reef, a great local spot with $10 bottomless mimosas and sangria and some of the best food on the island. We sat outside at a huge table and ate some of the best brunch dishes we’d ever had! They had giant pancakes, crab eggs benedict and savory grit bowls filled with super fresh shrimp and veggies. It was super relaxing and the perfect way to spend the morning.
Sunday before we left we stopped at Woody’s Waterfront, a small seafood restaurant that you knew was good because it was full of locals and only took cash. I had the BEST blackened fish sandwich with a beautiful view of the ocean.
PARTY GIFTS
I decided to make my girls goodie bags with some fun gifts to thank them for spending the weekend with me! I got them “Final Fiesta” themed shirts, hand sanitizer, hair ties and silly straws, but the highlights were the personalized makeup bags and drink pouches from Kennedy Lane, an amazing Etsy shop that specializes in bridal party and wedding gifts. The girls absolutely loved them! She also made me the cutest tote bag and personalized cup!
I couldn’t have asked for a better Final Fiesta!
