Summer is in full swing here in Florida, and while this season looks a lot different than it has in the past, I am making the most of it and finding safe ways to enjoy my summer! This summer we are headed to St. Augustine Beach to stay in a private condo where we can safely enjoy a much-needed getaway. Here are a few of my summer beach essentials!
Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
This eye balm feels amazing on your skin and it’s the best for putting on before a long day out in the sun!
Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen
I have super sensitive skin and the Neutrogena baby sunscreen is the only sunscreen I’ll use! It is gentle while providing plenty of protection from the sun.
SOJOS sunglasses
These sunnies are so cute and super affordable! Most of them are around $14 and they’re available on Amazon. Click here to shop more of my Amazon favorites
Curvy Swimwear
I am always on the hunt for bathing suits that not only fit but look cute too! Some of my favorite places to find curvy swimwear are Amazon, ArteSands and Boohoo.
Scout Pleasure Chest Cooler
This super cute cooler is compact and fits 4 bottles of wine! I got mine from Agapanthus, a local boutique in Gainesville, but they ship all across the country!
Brumate Hopsulator Slim
If you love hard seltzers as much as I do, you need to get a Brumate Slim! These insulated coozies keep drinks super cold and they have so many cute colors and styles!
A Good Book
I never go to the beach without a few books to read! I don’t like to just lay and do nothing, so reading makes the time in the sun so much better. I have a couple books picked out for the summer, including One To Watch by Kate Stayman-London.
Extra Large Beach Towel
Let’s face it, regular beach towels just don’t cut it when it comes time to tan. Invest in an extra large beach towel or even a large blanket for laying out, then save the smaller towels for drying off from the pool.
Handheld Misting Fan
Is this super extra? Yes. Do you need it? YES! The beaches in Florida are brutally hot in the summer, so taking a misting fan is a great way to keep cool. I always fill mine with a little water and tons of ice, so as the ice melts it keeps the misting water cool all day.
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Weightless After Sun Lotion
After a long day I love taking a cold shower and then rubbing this on my arms and legs. It is super hydrating and soothing and just feels amazing!
