I am finally sharing all the details from our “over the moon” baby shower in honor of our little guy who is arriving in just a couple weeks! The moon and stars baby shower theme was everything we could have wanted, and we had the most amazing day surrounded by family and friends. Baby Gardner is already so loved!
We decided to have our baby shower at Sweetwater Branch Inn, a boutique inn and event space in Gainesville that holds a special place in our hearts because that’s actually where we got married! It was so fun to celebrate another milestone in our lives there!
We had the shower in the McKenzie House, and the staff set up everything for us, including a mimosa/mom-osa bar on the beautiful wrap-around porch and tables and chairs both inside and out. My sweet friend Ashley at Garden & Grace Florals created the most stunning centerpieces for the event, complete with celestial details!
I cannot recommend having your baby shower at an all-inclusive venue enough! Sweetwater also provided a delicious brunch spread, and they were able to accommodate my gluten allergy so easily, even making certain dishes (like their famous French Toast Casserole) gluten free just for us! Having the food setup and cleanup, drinks (except alcohol,) and all the seating and everything taken care of made everything so much less stressful!
We got a gluten-free cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert, along with some fun baby shower-themed cookies. My friend Bich from Enso Naturals designed custom shower steamers for the perfect baby shower favors!
After eating we played some games and opened so many wonderful gifts! Our son will definitely be stylish with all his new clothes! We absolutely cannot wait to meet him!
